Recently, a heartwarming video of a baby kangaroo giving a man a big hug went viral on social media. In the video, the joey won’t let go, even as the man tries to walk away. The man, an Australian named Chris Barnes, rescued the young kangaroo after it lost its parents, so the joey now looks to him for love and, of course, hugs.

For over 10 years, Barnes has been caring for injured or orphaned kangaroos at The Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs, Australia. Once the joeys become adults, Barnes releases them back into the wild.
