well, i am not sure about the culture difference....it is a world of globalization, so the culture gap is very minimum....hahahahahhaaaaaa....In contrast, maybe that jerk also feels the same way as you do, namely, he may be tired of being misunderstood....hahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaa......again, it may not be due to culture gap, but may be just the age gap.....the only problem is we don't how young or how old that jerk is......perhaps, he is only 19 or so......hahahahahaaaaaaaa....if so, really there is an age gap.....
