A friend of mine relayed a highly readable article to me yesterday, the brief biography of Dr. Chien-shiung Wu.  People of my age almost all know her, but you guys may not, so I would like to share the article with you.

However, I must point out that her achievement had been of no logical relevance to her husband's grandfather, Yuan Shikai.  Furthermore, she might have helped allies, including China, defeat Japan in WWII by participating in A-bomb project, but as a Chinese American her contribution to China paled by comparison with the heroic deeds directly made by her contemporaries of similar education background: 錢學森, 鄭學稼, 郭永懷 and so many others.  (FYI, I did introduce them to you respectively in the "nostalgia" of my blog.)
