"Someone Please Answer The Phone": Usually I would discuss things with my coleagues in person, not over phones unless when it’s necessary or urgent.  Last week I made a couple of calls, but no one answered. Of course the person I called was not in his/her desk then, but there must’ve been someone else around. Pick up the ringing phone when you pass by, or transfer it into yours when you are next to it, and taking messeges. The guy supposed to receive the call will thank you for your kindness, the person who was calling will thank you for not letting him/her be tortured by the
tones, and people will thank you for not being annoyed by the noise. So next time when you are far away from a ringing phone, please call out "Someone please answer the phone!".

No Sandals. No Slippers, No Flip-flop in Office: Normally you
could wear all of those when you are seated in your desk(especially when you have beriberi, or athlete’s foot). But as long as you walk down the hallway or to the public area, please put your rather official shoes on.  Image when some VIPs or guests from outside catch you with those "footwears" on in the office, how embarrassed it would be. It’s high time you quitted wearing something indecent like that any more as long as you are in office.
