After I walked nearly a mile yesterday afternoon, it started raining. So I doubled back. When I turned around, I saw a rainbow hanging over the skyline on the west side. The rainbow was clear and serene, and it gave me an instant aesthetic and pleasant feeling. People see the rainbow as a sign of hope. Yes, I do need it. I hope my four granddaughters will all have a rainbow ahead of them. FYI, now my wife and I are in Louisville, Colorado, the second time in a month, trying to give a hand to the postnatal care of my daughter-in-law for her second daughter, also our fourth granddaughter. |
