The three parties on both sides of the strait—the CCP, KMT, and even the DPP—are calling for peace. Everybody knows that Taiwan independence means war and "One Country, Two Systems" means peace, but the DPP still hews to its independence, and both the DPP and the KMT do not recognize "One Country, Two Systems." How could Taiwan get peace anyway?

A future Taiwan necessitates peace, but both the DPP and KMT take a quite different approach to the main issue. Is it kind of an antinomy?
