I just watched a regular-season game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers this morning, but I also "witnessed" a great moment on TV. 10 seconds before the end of the third quarter, Lakers LeBron James used a fadeaway jumper to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 38,387 points, which were made nearly 40 years ago, to become the all-time scoring leader. Congratulations, James, though his Lakers finally lost the game.
As an NBA fan, I don’t particularly admire the way James has been playing; nevertheless, I do admire his build and constitution, as well as his undaunted will in pursuing the goal. Anyway, he is a legend now and forever.
BTW, reports said the most expensive ticket for the game is over 280 thousand dollars. Oh, my goodness!
