After having stayed in the States for ten months, I am going to return to Taiwan next week.  Today I applied a COVID-19 testing appointment which is one of the credentials for boarding the airliner heading to Taiwan.

When I selected the destination that I am heading to from the website online, I found the island on the listing shows: Taiwan, Province of China.  That is a correct appellation to me.

Dear islanders, no matter you like that official name or not, it is the fact you must accept.  If you don’t like it, maybe someday there is another name for you: Taiwan, Special Administration Region, China.  Are you happy with that?   

PS In Chinese, the administrative name "省" is the abbreviation of "行省"， which is derived from "行中書省"，meaning "省” is a branch of central government, no matter it belongs to PRC or ROC.
