Mr. Lin Zhongbin, former Deputy Minister of Defence, raised subject question the other day and he answered it by himself.  He thought the best way to safeguard Taiwan is to enlarge cross-fertilization between Taiwan and Chinas Mainland and let more people from Mainland into the island, for with scruple it will hinder Mainland from taking military means against Taiwan when necessary. 

But what Mr. Lin didnt point out was when such a situation comes into existence, it requires a prerequisite in the first place, that is Taiwan must pursue "One-China" policy.  It is quite impractical to think that Mainladers now are still willing to settle down in Taiwan through marriage or higher eduacation when Cai Administration and those "natural Taidu" are still openly hostile towards Chinas Mainland, and even declare they are not Chinese.   

President Xi and Mainlanders, please let the island be isolated from the rest of the world but let those sound-minded islanders in, as many as possible.  Time is on your side.
