昨晚在家和媽一起看了「麻雀變王妃」(The Prince and me)，電影大致上的敘述是說，童話般浪漫的愛情故事，只要肯冒險一定找得到。一面也說明，愛情是令人盲目的，是無法以理性去思考的。裡面講到了一首莎士比亞的十四行詩，覺得還不錯。可能因為在碩一的時候，修了一門英詩賞析，所以就想看看原詩到底是怎麼寫的，忍不住上網找出來讀。

O me! what eyes hath Love put in my head,
Which have no correspondence with true sight;
Or, if they have, where is my judgment fled,
That censures falsely what they see aright?
If that be fair whereon my false eyes dote,
What means the world to say it is not so?

這部電影經典的對白就是The sun itself sees not, till heaven clears.這句字面的意思是：天堂放睛才得見日光。但是，記得老師上課時有說過英詩的用字遣詞多半會使用隱喻法，所以，除了字面上我們看到的意思之外，幾乎都還可以有另一種解讀，那麼這就是英詩美麗並吸引人的地方。這麼說來，假如這個電影用來講愛情，那麼這句話就會變成有點在說愛情是盲目的意思，還蠻適合這電影的。
