 Thank you for your detailed presentation and explanations. I didn't know that the lady bugs are in so many varieties. They are very pretty and very cute just like little kids. Unfortunately the insecticides have been widely used for so many years, the population of a lot of species were greatly reduced. Some of the commonly seen insects years ago, we can only spot them in the remote wild areas occasionally. There is potential threat from the modern technologies like genetic engineered crops, which may dangerously alter the genetic codes of many species, including the human being , in the long run.

I remember during my young student days, there were sayings that we would someday conquer the nature with our advanced knowledges. This is absolutely wrong. Human beings are part of the nature, and as the ancient chinese phylosophies advocated, men can only live well in harmony with the nature. Thank you again for sharing those beautiful little bugs.
