I promised to talk about the Cross pen… I don’t recall how old you turned, I’m thinking may be 16? Me and Julie were walking and ran into your youngest sister. I think I already mentioned that previously. I was pretty glad that you were older than me, even just by a few months. I thought long and hard what to get you. Of course, I didn’t have a lot of allowance money, but occasional money here and there fashion news. I saved up over $20 and decided to get you a Cross pen from Consumer’s near BK college. It’s a long walk to newkirk to BK college, but I got you one about two weeks before due. Prior to getting you the pen, I walked to Sear’s at Flatbush and checked out the engraving overhead garage storage. Then, I got the pen a few days later. Then, I went to Sears for the engraving, which was done at the lower level. I know consumer closed too long ago, I wonder if that sears is still open. Do I want to visit Flatbush? Nope. It’s hard to think that I’ve lived and frequently shopped at the dollar stores in that neighborhood. I would begin to wonder, how did I ever lived like this? When I lived like that then, did people live like I do now?? Nowadays when I drive through poor neighborhoods, I find it such curiosity and oddity! Not that I am much better but at least I can afford the things I need/want. I can’t imagine people still lived that way Online Reputation Management. |
