| I bought my current laptop about a year and a half ago. It was top of the line and the fastest computer I had ever used. Fast forward to now, and (like with most computers) it has slowed down and become a little glitchy. Having had this problem before, I wanted to get it fixed soon and professionally, but trying to find the right place is a little overwhelming. My computer is like my child, but I also don't have an unlimited supply of money to spend on it. My first thought in consideration of money and experience went to Best Buy's Geek Squad. Once again, I don't have a lot of money to spend, and not knowing their prices has been holding me back. Earlier today I finally did a little research to find some prices, and found some interesting information along the way. One web page titled 9 Confessions of a Former Geek Squad Geek, told of everything from data theft to hardware sabotage. According to the person who wrote it, their techs weren't even certified. In the comments and replies, other people (both customers and employees) attested to the same thing. |
