An American friend asked me to teach him Taiwanese. 一位美國友人要我教他台語。
He asked me how to say "nine". 他問我怎麼說“九”
I said :kgao. 我說:“kgao"
He then asked me how to say "thick". 他又問我怎麼說”厚“
I said :kgao. 我說:”kgao"
He then asked me how to say "dog". 他又問我怎麼說“狗”
I said :kgao. 我說:“kgao”
He then asked me how to say "monkey". 他又問我怎麼說“猴”
I said :kgao. 我說:“kgao”
He then asked me how to say "arrive". 他又問我怎麼說“到”
I said :kgao. 我說“kgao"
He then asked me how to say "enough". 他又問我怎麼說“夠”
I said :kgao. 我說“kgao"
He then asked me how to say "hook". 他又問我怎麼說“鉤”
I said :kgao. 我回答“kgao"
From that day onward, he never asked me about learning Taiwanese again.
從此,他再也不要我教他台語了。************************************************
