 篝火旺燃著，歌聲也旺燃著

共同把夜照得燦亮如白晝

把寒意烘成暖熱呼呼

也把人們的血液煮得沸沸揚揚

哪種舞姿都行，哪種舞步都可

何必一定舞得合乎標準規格

你看，那舞得像乩童的（註）

不也一樣可以飆舞嗎？

只要願意，動起來，舞起來

歌曲熟不熟悉都不是什麼問題

所有的舞姿，所有的舞步

沒有不被節奏自然牽動起來的

拋開那些壓力、憂鬱和俗慮

放開心胸，讓熱情展翅翔飛

在這旺燃的篝火和歌聲裡

在這掛滿明星的草原夜空下

註：一九九九年八月十二日夜，在敖包山莊蒙古包中用過晚餐後，民族歌聲篝火晚會至深夜。因在北方，雖是夏日，是夜卻有寒意。「舞得像乩童的」是海拉爾晚報總編輯宋建坪和內蒙古民族師範學院中文系主任徐文海。

A nip in the air is toasted warm

And people’s blood is toasted boiling

No dancing step is refused here

There is no need to dance according with standard

Look! The person dancing while wagging his head like a sorcerer

His manner in dancing is so graceful! Dance!

Dance as you please!

Whether the song is popular or not

None of dancing steps

Isn’t aroused naturally by the rhythm of music

Cast aside psychological pressure or worries

Widen your chest and let your enthusiasm spread its wings to fly

Out of the campfire and the singing voice

Note: in the night of Aug. 12, 1999,after having dinner in the Aobao mountain Villa, the Campfire Party of National Singing and Dancing started. Though it was a summer night, I felt a bit cold due to in the northland ‘. All danced wildly, particularly Mr. Song Jianping, editor-in chief of Hailar Evening Paper, and Mr. Xu Wenhai, dean of the Chinese Department of inn Mongolia National Normal University.
