造物揮其神來之筆
在鳴沙山的谷底
輕輕一描一畫
月牙泉便成型了

從一邊看過去，月是上弦
從另一邊看過去，月是下弦
泉水清且漣兮
盈盈，滿滿，映照倒影

不管月是上弦或下弦
山上的細沙，請勿下滑
讓月牙泉永遠清明
讓月牙泉永遠是月牙泉

The Creator wielded a magical brush
Gently drew a landscape
At the foot of Mingsha Mountain
Thus, Crescent Spring appeared

Watched from on side, it looks like the moon at the first quarter
Watched from the other side, it looks like the moon at the last quarter
The spring water is clear, the simmering ripples
And the flitting shadows of clouds setting off each other

No matter the moon at the first quarter or at the last quarter
The fine sand on the mountain, please don’t slip down
Let Crescent Spring always be clear and bright
