此曲由Irvin Gordon所寫,原本叫［Uncomparable］，在音樂出版公司要求下改成現名

Lee Gillette將其製作成輕爵士味的流行情歌

在優美的鋼琴聲與Nelson Riddle指揮的管弦樂中, 高的演繹輕盈曳然, 洋溢著浪漫情調

［Unforgettable／永誌難忘］在１９５２年２月登上Billboard流行榜＃１２
