這是Felix Bernard&Richard B. Smith１９３４年譜寫的聖誕歌曲

據聞這是後者在家鄉賓州的Honesdale小鎮看到被白雪覆蓋的中央公園得到靈感　而寫下歌詞

原本由Richard Himber與他的Hotel Ritz-Carlton Orchestra先灌錄

梅瑟的版本是首柔美的抒情曲

由他跟歌唱團體彩衣吹笛手（The Pied Pipers）, 以及Paul Weston＆His Orchestra（伴奏）共同合作
