１９７７年的黑玫瑰／巴卡拉（Baccara）是１９７０年代後期短暫走紅的西班牙女子流行雙人組

以氣音似的唱腔, 華麗合音, 迪斯可節拍,與引人注目的外表為註冊商標

成員為Mayte Mateos (1951-) 與 María Mendiola (1952-)

１９７６年, Mateos與Mendiola先組成歌舞雙人組, 以維納斯（Venus）為名,

但工作運不佳。

後來在加那利群島的富埃特文圖拉島上的夜店表演時, 被RCA唱片的德國子公司經理Leon Deane發掘, 邀她們前往漢堡試音, 與RCA唱片簽約

並將‘維納斯’改名為‘黑玫瑰’（Baccara）──主要指她們的西班牙黑髮。

RCA雇用製作人Rolf Soja掌舵‘黑玫瑰’首支單曲, 由他與作詞家Frank Dostal合寫［Yes Sir, I Can Boogie／是的, 我能聞樂起舞］（RCA Victor唱片）,

並將其製作成一首歐式迪斯可──氣音似的唱腔, 華麗的合音, 加上輕快迪斯可節奏,配上Mateos與Mendiola的南歐性感風情, 讓此曲１９７７年４月在西德發行後, 在歐洲大受歡迎。

大碟登上西德專輯榜＃１３　瑞典／挪威／芬蘭冠軍（雙白金）　奧地利亞軍，成為巴卡拉事業最成功的專輯。
