不論是捷運、台鐵還是高鐵，只要一站上手扶梯，就會聽到熟悉的廣播聲「請緊握扶手、站穩踏階」，提醒民眾不要嬉戲，以免發生危險。不過，近日中國一位老婦人走上室外的手扶梯時，疑似一時沒站穩，身體重心往後仰，整個人當場從手扶梯上滾下來。

雖然過程中，老婦人努力試著想要站起來，但身體反應實在跟不上，導致她在手扶梯上滾了一圈又一圈，就這樣翻滾了將近一分鐘，站在前端的民眾才意識到發生意外，趕緊跑下試圖拉起老婦，而一位剛好經過的年輕女子，則迅速按下位於手扶梯入口處的停止鈕，路人才得以扶起老婦，驚悚畫面讓網友直呼「看的好難過」、「好險手和頭髮沒有被捲進去」、「老了身體跟不上行動，無助又無奈」。
