禪師說: 好一陣子沒和大家見面，但是我一直沒有離開你們，請各位想想，這到底是什麼意思?
Master Hui Chung: We haven't seen each other for a while, but in fact I am not away from you. Please think about it. What do I mean by "not away from you"?
我有一本經，展開無一字，若人問我何，空中一片石。
I have one scripture, which has no words in it. If you ask me why the book has no words, I would say a rock in the air.
這本無字經書是一本什麼樣的經書? 到底它在教什麼?
What is this scripture? What on earth is it teaching?
這本經書人人都有，你起個念頭，就在它上面寫字。釋尊四十九年所說法，都在這本經書中。這本無文字的書是有文字的書的起源。
Everyone has such scripture. Once you have thoughts, the words are written in it. What the Sakyamuni Buddha taught during 49 years is all in this scripture. It is the origin of all the other books with words.
