In The Truth About Forever, Macy’s new job opens her eyes to a different world. Wish Catering is a busy organization, and the work is challenging. There is a lot of cooperation among the staff, and she soon forms a friendship with one of her coworkers, Wes. They discover that they have a lot in common. Wes had also lost his mother to cancer, and he also happens to be taking a break from a relationship. He has stopped seeing his girlfriend, Becky.
