I remember some forty years ago, baby eel was one of Taiwan staple exports, especially to Japan.  Later on, due to the advance of aquaculture, the grown eel from Taiwan still dominated in Japan market.  Not any more.  Please see following report:

From the recent pineapple "incident", as well as the eel here, it can be testified that China Mainland is able to suffocate the economy of Taiwan without much ado.  Chips?  Well, it just a matter of time.  

PS  Even you just regard Mainland as one of your trade partners, instead of a brother like he has been doing to you, you should by no means insult and humiliate your biggest buyer the way you have been doing all the time.  You idiots!
