Since the majority of people in Taiwan remain bitterly opposed to the Rectopamine-contained pork that imported from America, so who in the island would eat the pork anyway? The other day, some cyber star raised a whimsically evil idea that such pork and their by-products could export to Mainland China. Surprisingly, this perverted suggestion won the whole house from his audience. The show totally infuriated Mainlanders. The office of Taiwan Affairs announced later, with immediate effect, a ban on ALL Taiwan pork products, as well as other meat products, not even as souvenirs carried by travellers, from importing to Mainland, including Hong Kong and Macao. Is that low-class show the only one to blame? Not particularly. It is the distorted anti-China mindset that has long been drummed into the islanders by DPP. Office of Taiwan Affairs may not play the role of appeasement across the strait any more, and its statement may also convey a strong sign of warning: dovish attitude towards Taiwan has been waning in Mainland. Dear islanders, you had better watch out. DPP administration, you have nothing to complain about, for you deserve it! https://www.ixigua.com/6922793185076838924 |
