To dream the impossible dream 做一個不可能實現的夢 To fight the unbeatable foe 對抗一個無法擊敗的敵人 To bear with unbearable sorrow 忍受那無法容忍的悲傷 To run where the brave dare not go 跑向勇者不敢去的地方
To right the unrightable wrong 糾正那無法改正的錯誤 To love pure and chaste from afar 愛上來自遠方的純潔與高雅 To try when your arms are too weary to reach the unreachable star 當你雙臂疲憊不堪時，仍嘗試要攀摘那無法碰觸到的星星
This is my quest, to follow that star 這是我的追求，去跟隨那顆星 No matter how hopeless, no matter how far 不論希望多渺茫，不管多遙遠 To fight for the right without question or pause, 毫無疑惑或停頓地為正義而戰 To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause! 願意昂首闊步入地獄只為一神聖使命！ And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest 我知道只要忠於此榮耀的追尋 That my heart will be peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest. 我心將寧靜與沉著當我躺下安眠時 And the world will be better for this 世界會因此變得更好 That one man scorned and covered with scars 受到蔑視且滿身創傷的人 Still strove with his last ounce of courage 他依然以僅存的勇氣努力奮戰 To reach the unreachable star 去攀摘那無法碰觸到的星星 The impossible dream |
