Michelle:
Told two short stories:
1. Oh, that's good. No, that's bad.
It was my friend Joe's birthday just last week.
[All] Oh that's good!
Not really, you see everyone forgot.
[All] Oh that's bad.
Not so bad, everyone felt guilty and they decided to throw him a party.
[All] Oh that's good.
Not really you see, the party supposed to be in New York, Joe was in California.
[All] Oh that's bad.
Not so bad, luckily a friend insisted to fly Joe to the party.
[All] Oh that's good!
Not really you see, the airplane ran out of gas halfway there.
[All] Oh that's bad.
Not so bad, there were two parachutes on the plane.
[All] Oh that's good.
Not really, you see, Joe's parachute didn't open.
[All] Oh that's bad.
Not so bad, there was a haystack right underneath him.
[All] Oh that's good.
Not really you see, the biggest pitchfork you'd ever see was sticking out of the haystack.
[All] Oh that's bad.
Not- not so bad, he missed the pitchfork.
[All] Oh that's good.
Not really you see, he also missed the haystack.
[All] Oh that's bad.
No, that's good because that's the end of my silly story.
2. Listen.
Once there was a wife who found her husband really dull. She decided to do something about so she sent him into town to hear the storyteller. The husband sat down in the crowd and began to listen to the stories but was soon fast asleep. While he slept, a dog came by and peed in his mouth. He woke up when the storyteller finished his telling and went home. His wife thought that didn't sound quite right so she sent him back to see the storyteller again the next night. This time the crowd was even bigger and when the husband fell asleep and man stood on his shoulders to get a better view. “How was that?” asked his wife when he got home. “It was a bit heavy for my taste,” he told her. Again, his wife sent him back. This time the husband stayed awake and listened, enthralled to a story about King Arthur. The storyteller came to the part of the story where King Arthur rode his horse out of the castle and across the drawbridge and dropped his sword Excalibur into the moat. The husband was so inside the story that he dived into the water, swam down to the bottom, grabbed the sword and returned it to the King. He then went and retook his seat in the audience for the rest of the story. When he got home that night, his wife asked him, “How was that?” “It was great!” he cried. “I was part of it and I loved it!” And from that day on, the wife never found her husband dull ever again.
