I have completed the assignment of a tour guide for a group of international students this afternoon.  There are two students from Japan, one from Malaysia, two from China, two from Taiwan, one professor from Japan, and one teaching assistant from Taiwan in my group.  Besides the tour, they are curious about how public issues are managed in Taiwan.  I answered them with the example of citizen participation on Xinbeitou Railroad Station restoration and Beitou Cable car issues.
