膾炙人口的 歌曲 the sound of silent
原來有這麼感人的故事~
友誼的珍貴，好聽的歌曲，令人感動~
 Sound of silence 的歌詞爲何如此的寫?
"你好黑暗我的老朋友"，這就是他背後的故事：与盲友的真情。
這是一個來自布法羅一個猶太家庭的美國窮男孩的故事，他得到了哥倫比亞大學的獎學金。
 在那裏，他和一個男孩，他的室友，成為了好朋友。但是在他大學一年級的時候，在看一場棒球比賽，突然，他看不見了！不知怎麼回事，他失明了。醫生說是結膜炎，會好的。
 但是並沒有好轉，是白內障損害了他的視覺神經。男孩雙目失明，精神鬱抑遂輟學回到家鄉。
這個朋友，他的室友，去了那裏，說服他回到大學。朋友對他說：黑暗會陪着你，但是我會是你的光。這位朋友開始全方面幫助他。他幫他讀了書，陪著他考試！
 這個盲人最終以法律學位畢業，然後在哈佛獲得了碩士學位，在牛津獲得了博士學位。他成爲一名知名的律師，並成爲白宮的顧問。他曾是傑拉德·福特和吉米·卡特等美國總統的國家顧問。
 這個克服逆境的真實感人故事，展示了真正友誼的價值。這是桑迪·格林伯格的一生。
但是回到 1964 年，幫助他畢業的室友，西蒙和加芬克爾二人組向桑迪借了 400 美元。他需要錢發行唱片。
 桑迪把錢借給他了。這張唱片於 1964 年發行，成爲最受歡迎的歌曲之一。
