穆巴拉克下台與美國的偽善

埃及總統穆巴拉克的統治抵擋不過十八天的人民革命而下台！這名總統30年前因強人沙達特遇刺而扶正，上任後持續親美路線，也是阿拉伯世界中少數承認以色列的領袖之一。為此，伊斯蘭極端份子曾經六次嘗試暗殺他。

穆巴拉克的政績一般，埃及人口眾多但是不生產石油，經濟當然比不上鄰近的阿拉伯國家。與其他中東國家一樣，埃及多年缺乏政治革新，維持軍事強人統治的模式。但是戰亂頻繁的中東過去三十多年沒有大規模的軍事衝突，也必須要歸功穆巴拉克堅持維護埃及與以色列之間脆弱的和平。

埃及人民革命達到了穆巴拉克下台的目的，但是這代表埃及人民的勝利嗎？這是埃及民主政治的開端嗎？埃及知識份子多是憂心忡忡，不像美國媒體或者是歐巴馬如此樂觀，他們擔心埃及可能重複1978年伊朗革命的歷史。

穆巴拉克下台後，果然不出埃及知識份子所料，接下來的就是軍事統治。埃及並沒有條件成為一個民主國家的條件，也只有軍隊有能力暫時穩住現在混亂的局勢。走了八十多歲的穆巴拉克，接手的是75歲的陸軍元帥、埃及最高軍事委員會主席坦塔威。

最令人可悲的是，穆巴拉克過去三十年親美親以色列，被許多回教徒視為叛徒，曾經六次試圖暗殺他！但是與多任美國總統會面聚餐握手都沒有用，革命一開始他便被美國政府與媒體棄之如敝屣。

歐巴馬居然稱讚穆巴拉克主動下台，說這是「埃及人民意志的勝利」。 CNN也稱呼他為「獨裁者」。也難怪穆巴拉克大罵美國人。虧他做了這麼多年的美國看門狗，美國人可是翻臉如翻書，一點情面不留。但是美國人的天真也是令人納悶，認為只要有人走上街頭就是民主！埃及的軍事統治會維持多久沒有人知道，這個國家以後甚至可能走向伊斯蘭極端主義。今天CNN 和歐巴馬眼中的民主鬥士可能明年就換裝成為反西方的伊斯蘭聖戰鬥士。

埃及人！自求多福吧！幫美國人看門多年的穆巴拉克，Farewell！

說偽善太沉重

美國是世界第一強權。強權外交，對付強權和對付弱國有不同的作法，所有的作法也不可能像數學題一樣合道理。七十年代，為了對付蘇聯，美國對中共卑微相對，但是對同是共產國家的古巴卻是嚴厲以對。美國講人權，但是對以色列不把巴人當人看卻又視若無睹，因為和以色列有「特殊關係」，對以色列的核武也能接受。偽善，也許吧，但是幸好強權會偽善。要是有個超強照著聖經治理全世界，那世界就完了。

if the chinese think that ruling by a bunch of communists is best for them, the US will respect that but if the chinese think other type of political system is better, then the US will always respect that too.

one thing about the US is that it holds its core value of human right, peace and democracy. if a political change is to happen, the people will have to initiate the change. the best US can do is to give those people moral support and sometimes that's the best support in the world... most countries just stay silent because they don't care.

Political systems are results of evolution, not what the Chinese think or what the US think. How do you consolidate the thinkings of 1.3 billion people. Current politcal system in China (calling it communism is simply naive) is not the best but not the worst. It is doable... just like the so called democratic system is doable for the USA. There are always rooms for improvement for any political system.

US political system believes in human right and democracy but it does not always execute in these values. If you are happy with American political system, I am happy for you. It is probably the best political system for a multi-racial country like the USA. However, it is not the best political system for other countries. Believe in PEACE? No way. US has invaded more countries than anyone else in history.

In reality, US is waging an economic war against the world... trying to export recession to other countries by imposing irresponsible fiscal policy. Have you seen anyone borrow more money at even lower interest rate? This is what your beloved US is doing to the rest of the world...

the US will engage with anyone for the regional peace, does that mean the US support everything its allies do in their own countries? hardly... now you know why the US engage with china... for regional peace the US will deal with anyone and that's the best way for everyone.
