There are a couple of humor stories that I would like to share: (1) A couple of weeks ago, there was a power outage in our neighborhood. It was out for almost the whole day. We couldn’t even go on the computer or watch TV. All that I could do was read a book. At around 6:20pm, the power was completely restored. Whew… what a relief! M then said to me, “How come the power was out all day, did I forget to pay for this month’s electricity bill? Is that what caused our whole neighborhood to have no power, because I didn’t pay for this month’s electricity bill”. She looked puzzled and asked me how could’ve that happened. 村子里整個停電﹐BM 忽然想到﹐忘了付電費﹖所以全村沒電﹖ 槽糕了!@#$%﹖﹖被我害到了﹖ (2) There is a restaurant located in the corner of busy intersection. Once in a while, we will order their lunch to-go. Just recently, I called that restaurant and decided to order shredded pork with pickled mustard noodles. The owner kept changing my order, saying that I should order three ingredients seafood noodle soup, beef noodle soup or shredded pork with preserved vegetable noodle soup because all of them are freshly made with fresh meats and vegetables. I just don’t quite get it. 中餐點外賣﹐LC﹕老闆我要炸菜肉絲麵 帶走 餐廳老闆﹕有牛肉麵 更好~﹐還有三鮮湯麵是新鮮的 LC﹕!##%^﹖﹖﹖﹖不知道為什麼﹖ @#$%﹖﹖老要賣我其它的﹐我又沒有點!@#%%~~ (3) While at work, the phone rang several times and when it came to picking up, no one was there on the other end. A couple of minutes later, the phone rang and M picked up the phone. She then asked me, “Who is it on the other end that is not talking, are they playing a prank on me?”. M had assumed that it was SN but wasn’t quite sure. I was then caught up with a phone call with a customer and the phone rang again. M answered it and said Hello a couple of times and still, no one was on the other line. Hmm… who could it be? 近來可能有暗慕者﹐BM 一接電話﹐對方就掛了﹖ 可能是SN 打來的﹖﹖!@#%%﹖來探頭路的﹖哈嘍﹖哈嘍﹖ (4) Back to the same restaurant that I mentioned earlier, we ordered mu shu pork. Mu shu pork is comprised of shredded pork chop meat, thinly sliced bamboo shoots and sliced wood ear mushrooms. It comes with hoisin sauce for dipping. It is also usually served with warm, steamed thin, white tortilla-like wrappers made of flour. They are called mu shu pancakes. Anyways, when it came to ordering mu shu pork, the owner then said “Do you want the mu shu pancakes, because some people don’t like it”. (this is a 黃色笑話). 同一家餐廳﹐點 木須肉﹐老闆問要不要皮﹖ BM: 航﹖沒有皮怎麼包肉來吃﹖ 老闆說﹕有人不喜歡皮 BM: !@#%%%﹖﹖
