昨天拖著疲憊的身軀回家，買了兩個蔥燒包(steamed buns with meat and green onion stuffing)，打算邊寫報告邊吃晚餐。沒想到....我遇人的功力又發威了...走在十字路口迎面而來的竟是我的高中同學小玉!!(因為她長得很像小丸子裡的小玉，哈哈)

畢業之後根本就沒有聯絡we lost contact after graduation(註:那是一個沒有MSN的年代)，巧妙的是，小玉就住在我家對面，可謂踏破鐵鞋無覓處，得來全不費工夫。小玉目前服務於台新銀行(Taishin Bank)，是一個朝九晚五的上班族(後來在我家聊了好久呢...)。最近，大學同學也在號召同學會(class reunion)，時間定在九月五日的高雄國賓飯店，期待期待。

同學會就是一種以前同學的聚會(it is a meeting of former classmates)，通常都會辦在畢業學校附近(it's typically organized at or near their former school)。同學會要幹麻? 還不就是「敘舊」(nostalgically reminisce about their old school days)、「聊聊近況」(bring each other up to date on what has happened to each of them since they went their separate ways)。校友(alumni)同聚最忌諱的就是「比較心態」，能相見就很難得了。不需要羨慕別人的成就(personal accomplishment)或者事業(fruitful career)，反正人各有命，是吧~~
