The Daily Mail reported that Ariel Castro was the father of teenage victim Gina DeJesus's best friend.

Castro, who owned the house where DeJesus and two other women were found, had also been to a vigil for the missing girls.

Ms DeJesus was abducted from a street in Cleveland in 2004, when she was just 14.

An interview on America's Most Wanted conducted in 2005 revealed that Castro's daughter Arlene was the last person to see Ms DeJesus before her disappearance as they walked home from school.

Castro's son Anthony told the Daily Mail that it was conceivable that Ms DeJesus was targeted because of the family connection 150w box mod.

"It make you think how could she possibly disappeared without any trace. If she was abducted forcefully somebody would have seen it," said the younger Mr Castro.

Mr Castro revealed that his father padlocked the doors to the basement, the attic and the garage and never let his family inside Bridal Makeup course.

Law enforcement sources told 19 Action News that chains were hanging from the ceiling of one of the rooms.

Ms DeJesus, Amanda Berry and Michele Knight were freed yesterday after nearly ten years in captivity in the home on a densely populated residential street Claire Hsu.

It is believed they were regularly chained up by the neck and waist.

Ariel Castro and his two brothers Pedro and Oneil have all been arrested but have not yet been charged.
