因為有位同事酷愛唐詩, 也曾試著將部分內容翻譯成英文,

有天他要我也試試, 我就下筆了~

寫了很久, 卻還不甚滿意, 很難將言簡意賅的中文詩意境表達, 不過, 又讓我找回對翻譯的熱情~

小妹英文底子不好, 翻譯也純粹為了興趣, 但歡迎大家不吝指正和給意見, 多多指教囉~

* 李白 將進酒

君不見黃河之水天上來, 奔流到海不復回.

君不見高堂明鏡悲白髮, 朝如青絲暮成雪.

人生得意須盡歡, 莫使金樽空對月.

天生我才必有用, 千金散盡還復來.

烹牛宰羊且為樂, 會須一飲三百杯.

岑夫子, 丹丘生, 將進酒, 杯莫停.

與君歌一曲, 請君為我傾耳听 .

鍾鼓饌玉不足貴, 但愿長醉不愿醒.

古來聖賢皆寂寞, 惟有飲者留其名.

陳王昔時宴平樂, 斗酒十千恣歡謔.

主人何為言少錢, 徑須沽酒對君酌.

五花馬, 千金裘, 呼兒將出換美酒,與爾同銷萬古愁

英譯:

Don’t you see the Huanghe River drop from the sky? The river flows into the sea and will never return. Don’t you find many sorrows turned your hair white when you see yourself in the mirror? The beautiful hair was black in the morning, but it turned white soon at night. We need to seize the moment and enjoy ourselves when we are pleased and never take an empty wineglass toward the moon. Everyone is somebody one day. Money will be back after it is used up. Let’s celebrate our delight by cooking beef and mutton. Three hundred glasses of wine are not enough for us to drink. So, please drink freely and don’t stop. Let me sing a song for you and listen attentively. It’s not the most precious to enjoy the beautiful sounds or delicious food, but to get drunk and never be sober up. Many great men of virtue in history were forgotten today. Only great drinkers are famous for all time. Prince Chen once banqueted guests and let them indulge in all the good wine. Don’t ask me if I have enough money and just drink a toast. I’ll exchange my expensive horse and clothes for good wine. So, let’s drink together and forget all the sorrows.
