鵲橋仙（宋．秦觀）

纖雲弄巧 飛星傳恨 銀漢迢迢暗度

金風玉露一相逢 便勝卻人間無數

柔情似水 佳期如夢 忍顧鵲橋歸路

兩情若是長久時 又豈在朝朝暮暮

Look at the clouds changing in various shapes.

Look at the stars moving swiftly to deliver their grief.

The Cowherd and Maiden Weaver get together on the bridge made by magpies in the Milky Way.

In the autumn breeze and drop of dew, they finally meet again. 

Although they meet yearly, they have stronger affection than the lovers who meet frequently on earth.

Their love will last long like a river, but the reunion is short like a dream.

They can’t help turning around to see each other when they are apart on the bridge.

As long as their love can last forever, it doesn’t matter if they can’t be together all the time.
