Dear Connie, Date: 2001,2,27 I’ve mentioned to you that I really enjoy the feelings of keeping a diary. For me, keeping a diary is just like talking to a close friend who can keep the secret for you. The diary can be the best listener, which can listen to you with patience. The diary can be your reminder, which can remind you of something important. The diary can be the trashcan. The diary can be a time machine, which can take you back to travel the past. The diary is an indeed friend who always stands by you when you need it. The diary is a true family member who can lighten your burdens and share the happiness with you. The diary is a good partner who grows with you. The diary is a considerate lover who loves the way you are. If you are willing to give the diary a chance to serve you, I think you can feel what I feel. Let the diary cry with you, laugh with you, live with you. The diary is my baby, and I am its baby, too. That’s because it is my past, present, and future. Maybe in the nearly future, you’ll feel the same way about the diary with me. Don’t forget to talk with your baby from time to time. Best wishes for you. Helen
