【Saving mountain pigs, the most frequent victims of hunting by Taiwan indigenous】(Please help share this post)

Mountain pigs are one of the most frequently consumed proteins. A herd of mountain pigs usually consists of 2 to 3 female boars and several babies, while a male boar will only join the herd during heat period. In general sense, mountain pigs are living in groups.

Thanks to our donors, we have brought a family of mountain pigs home. Moutain pigs are prone to extinction due to excessive hunting by humans. Therefore, most of them are now bred in farms. As the owner decided to end business of animal slaughter, while the boar mother and father have sufficient blessings, virtues, and causal connections*, we are most delighted to welcome this boar family to our sanctuary.

To help the others is to help oneself as our meritorious virtues will eventually pay off. One of the most beautiful thing in life is that we offer a sincere helping hand to others and ourselves concurrently. That is what van. Master Chi Kung taught us as "Benefiting Self and Others"#.
