看過電影《真善美》(The Sound of Music)的人
大概都忘不了這首可愛的民謠風歌曲。
這首《小白花》是 Rodgers 和 Hammerstein
為了1959年的音樂劇The Sound of Music而寫的，
後來在1965年音樂劇搬上大銀幕。
這首歌也隨著賣座的電影傳唱全世界。
不少人還一直以為這是真的奧地利民謠。

奧地利和德國是同文同種的國家，
但是在歷史上你爭我奪，
兄弟之邦也不知打過幾回仗。
最近的一次在二次大戰，奧地利被德國併吞。
這就是《真善美》這個電影的背景。

這首歌也是Rodgers 和 Hammerstein
兩人合作的最後一首歌，
因為當時Hammerstein 犯了胃癌，
在音樂劇開幕後九個月就身亡了。

貼在這裡的是《真善美》電影中，
最後von Trapp一家準備逃亡前
在薩爾斯堡音樂節比賽中
向國人告別的演唱。
開始時由von Trapp艦長一個人獨唱，
後來由全家人加入。
