Blowin in the Wind

這首家戶喻曉的歌曲的作者是2016年諾貝爾文學獎得主
巴布狄倫（Bob Dylan)在1962年所寫。
在60年代的美國，正是反戰運動最盛行的時代。
這首歌的歌詞強烈地影射對戰爭的指責，
反省和平、生命與戰爭的意義何在。
在2004年的滾石雜誌的「史上名歌500首」裡排行第14名。
巴布狄倫是以歌詞創作得到諾貝爾文學獎的第一位。

1963年最先由巴布狄倫自己灌唱，
但是最成功的是1963年由Peter, Paul and Mary三人組的版本，
在美國輕音樂（Easy Listening）排行榜上奪冠連續五個星期之久。
在台灣大家都很熟悉的還有Joan Baez的版本，
電影阿甘正傳 (Forrest Gump)裡頭聽到的
就是Joan Baez的版本。

巴布狄倫1941年生在美國明尼蘇達州，
原名是Robert Allen Zimmerman，
是現在烏克蘭猶太人移民的後代。
小時候喜愛鄉村和藍調歌曲，
到了中學時代開始喜愛熱門搖滾樂，
並組樂隊演唱貓王和Little Richard的歌曲。
1959年進入明尼蘇達州大學就讀，
興趣轉到美國的民謠歌曲上，
他覺得，搖滾樂的深度不夠，
不如民謠的貼近人們的生活。
他改名成Bob Dylan也是這個時候。

在明大只念了一年，就退學，到紐約去，
先去拜訪了美國民歌的元老Woody Guthrie，
當時Woody Guthrie已經病重在醫院療養，
在屢次的拜訪中，巴布狄倫也認得了
Woody Guthrie的經紀人，也得到他的器重。
之後，巴布狄倫留在紐約，開始在月總會裡演唱。
終於見露頭角，終成一代大家。
