Website scams Click Fraud

The latest scam to hit the headlines is the multi-million dollar Click fraud which occurs when advertising network affiliates force paid views or clicks to ads on their own websites via Spy ware, the affiliate is then paid a commission on the cost-per-click that was artificially generated. Affiliate programs such as Google's Adsense capability pay high commissions that drive the generation of bogus clicks. With paid clicks costing as much as $100 and an online advertising industry worth $10 Billion+ it is clear why this form of Internet fraud is on the increase."

On December 24, my advertising of Google's adwords

encountered suspecious & numerous clicks in the statement.
I become victimized by click fraud 334 invalid clicks
a day. I reported immediately to Google's office.

Team at Google corporate headquarters.
My team is dedicated to ensuring that
our advertisers are receiving the most
effective advertising available.

I wanted to assure you that we take
invalid clicks very seriously and whenever
we confirm that invalid clicks occurred,
we would credit your account immediately
and take the appropriate action against any perpetrating parties we confirm to have
caused the activity.

Thank you for waiting so patiently for
a response.
I have had my team review the traffic
on your ads over the past two months.
We analyzed the traffic sources
of the clicks in your account as
well as the trends, patterns, and behaviors
of these clicks. We also specifically paid
close attention to the content and search
syndication sites that generated clicks
to determine if these partners
caused any invalid activity or violated
any of our strict terms and conditions.
Through investigating your clicks,
my team and I were able to confirm
a small amount of invalid clicks coming
from both the Google search and some
of our syndication partners.
Fortunately, these clicks were
automatically filtered out by our
protection systems and we confirmed
you were not charged for the clicks
our system identified as invalid activity.
The other clicks in your account appear
to be normal and resemble normal user
and system behavior.
Please allow me to explain further that
Google has protection systems in place
to protect advertisers against invalid
click activity. These systems are designed
to automatically detect duplicate clicks that fit a profile of invalid activity;
additionally, our system looks at numerous
data points for each click, including the
IP address, the time of the click, and various
other click patterns. Our system then analyzes
these factors to isolate and filte out clicks
deemed invalid. Advertisers are not charged
for these clicks.

My comments to this incident:

Google now is facing new challenges confronting Google to
avoid the recurence.The google teams must consider the
implication as a result of above insident:
1. Google must create a new softwear to prevent this
    kind of clickfraud.
2. A repeated click from same browser will be blocked.
3. A click will be recorded in Google to collect the
   information of browser IP as well as valid e-mail address.

   This will help law office to track down the internet Vandalism.
4. To avoid the out-law using Clickfraud to conduct blackmailing

    intimidating & extortion, an anti fraud is a must 
    to fend off the lawsuit to protect the advertiser.
5.This Vandalism can not be iradicated easily and Google
   has to publicly educate the end user as well as Google
   adwords advertiser.

 In conclusion, any computer talent is encouraged

 to develop a program and strengthen the security of the click.
