I guess Dr. is right that I am undergoing so called
"Ageing Process" there is no point to fight it and you have
to let nature take its own course.

It seems the above story does not correspond with the
title of this article. I think it does explain something very
closely related to it.

Reading the article of Miss Lin's blog series of questions it
does remind me of thinking the history of Taiwan. Sorry,
I am not a historian and am not here to misguide you blogger
in CT. Just take it easy & take my words at its face value.

Taiwan was returning the Chinese rule after Japanese occupation
for 50 years did not think during those years of occupation
that Japanese treated local people fairly. Well, I would not say
Japanese treated Taiwan people like 2nd class people,
at least not same as their own people. I hope no one
would argue on this point. The 50 years under Japanese rules
did have profound repercussion on people's life habit be it good
or bad. During that 50 year's ruling there appeared a vacuum
of higher education for talent people with forward
looking on behalf of Taiwan national.  Correct me if I am wrong.
Taiwan University accepted students without discrimination 
when Taiwan was returned to the rules of ROC. The later 50 years
history has explained why Taiwan has played an important role
in international theater with its popular education industrial
working people and created so called "Taiwan Miracle"
to the world. The 1st 50 years of Japanese occupation made
people obedient to the government. The later 50 years proved
the real quality of the real people. Taiwanese were
walking on every corner of the world with a suitcase to conduct
the business. They were rich and proud with their head up to meet
anyone in the world. No one would deny their accomplishment.

Since Lee of KMT was in power, there appeared I called it
"political Aging Process". The peak of Taiwan miracle is over.
People in Taiwan has been falling sick of "political Numb syndrome"
 Only a small number of political opportunists
manipulated and take advantage of present situation to their own interests.
Most people, if not all, numb to what they see and hear. I asked Dr.
what to do with my numb of my toes. He said not much.
That is the result of aging process.

That is I am feeling after reading your article same as my numb of toes.
