Day one, Sept 26,2007.
When I dump the trash in dumpster, I found a small animal like the
size of a cat staring at me quietly. It must be there for a while.
Presuming that it must be trapped. I was wondering what to do?
I called 911 asked what to do about the wild animal. She asked
a few question and said that they will either call animal control
or Fish-&-Game department to handle.
Well, I had been waiting for the whole after noon and seemed
no action taken. Poor animal! It must have trapped for a couple
of days. Common sense told me that you better not approach
wild animal if you do not have knowledge of know-how,
that you might be hurt or infected by the decease they carry
it with it.
Day 2, Sept 27,2007
I found in dictionary that type of animal could be one of the
Raccoons in North America. I guess that it might be a baby
raccoon that it could jump into the dumpster in search for
food and later on would not be able to jump out. I brought in
a cup with water and put in the dumpster.
It looked very pleased with the water and consumed very well.
After that I saw it sleeping quietly in the filthy place. I do
not know what kind of food it likes to take and presumed
it will find its way of surviving.
Day 3, Sept 28, 2007.
To my surprise that the cover was left intentionally open,
yet the raccoon stayed in the dumpster. I looked at it and
told Mari about this situation. The raccoon looked
at me from its eye expression I guess it was asking me to
help it out. Poor thing, if I do not do something and the
dump-bin collector will crash it to pieces. With Mari's
help I found a swimming pool leave rug and gradually hold
it out of the bin. It looked weak but manageable to walk
away from the trouble it has been trapped. I looked at it
until it disappeared from the deep bushes.
