no, i wouldn't think so...
your worry and Dr's worry (see below) are too much.....sorry for me to say this:
you don't really understand the real Taiwan people (at least the other half of 23 millions), what they think, and how they live. If you do, you would see the root of the event. You are out of sight, you are out of "real" touch of every day life. You read most of newspaper and media that may not be so accurate. Trust me!
I am very very very moderate! I can tell you so.
My suggestions: you can make comment to Taiwan politics, but only with your American viewpoints and insights. If you want to make comment to Taiwan event or value, I suggest you go travel the entire Taiwan for a week or a month. Specifically, if you are from the BLUE background, I really like to suggest you spend 1 week or two in south Taiwan (the real country side) to see around to feel the real life of average/low income people before making comments. Furthermore, you better go back to study a little bit about the life experiences during 1950s-1970s in Taiwan (specially in the south) before you touch upon the ploticial issues. That's my sincere suggestions. If you don't understand either that period of history or the current life sitaution, your comments may become challenageable. Trust me.
I am rather fair....so turst me.
