現在的他，還是成熟型男一個
秘密的婚禮…這首歌的曲名就像電影片名般。據說原本是首古典樂曲。歌詞唱著不被祝福的兩人婚禮，沒有人能來破壞這段姻緣。是一首在神秘的氣氛之中，彷彿可以看見堅定意志的美好歌曲。
從警察合唱團（The Police）到個人單飛，搖滾巨星史汀（Sting）總共贏得了17座葛萊美獎與兩座全英音樂獎所頒發的「傑出音樂貢獻獎」，歷年專輯作品的全球累積銷售也突破1億張，同時也以優異的詞曲文采入列「歌曲創作者名人殿堂」。史汀在1987年發表專輯《…Nothing Like The Sun》，以自己跟母親的關係為架構，探究母子關係在出生、婚姻與死亡等人生的重要階段所遭遇到的衝擊，〈The Secret Marriage〉即是出自此張專輯。但該歌從未做單曲發行，歌曲的旋律是改編自德國作曲家漢斯艾斯勒（Hans Eisler）的〈To My Little Radio Box〉，在悲傷的氛圍中解析了史汀自己對於婚姻的承諾，是一首表達私密情感的動人創作。
