ooo Some people like the thrill of hunting for and scoring a big bargain in the mall. Other consumers prefer shoping in the comfort of their own home while sipping tea and cozying up with their cats. Yesterday was a day for the latter. Alibaba, the mega e-commerce company in China(appositive),topped $ 9 billion in sales on a made-up shopping holiday yesterday. Singles' Day, celebrated on 11/11 is China's anti-Valentine's Day. Although the pseudo -holiday has been around since the 90s, Alibaba has made it into the biggest worldwide shopping day of the year.
