Yesterday, a devastating tornado hit and wreaked dreadful havoc on Funing County in northern part of Jiangsu, and thus caused heavy casualties and severe damage to the town.

My father was from there, and my grandfather was a big landlord there before 1940(he was forced to be expelled from the town when CCP's New Fourth Army occupied northern Jiangsu.).  So to some extent Funing(阜寧), now under the jurisdiction of Yancheng(鹽城), is my old hometown which I am still deeply attached to, though I've never been there. 

I hope my remote folks and all people there in Funing shall soon get over the catastrophes that they are suffering now.  Go, Funing! 

P.S.  From the debris shown below, we can see those collapsed houses of Funing are still made of bricks.  Give the survivors concrete houses!
