If an NBA home team was leading its guest 18 points with less than 7 minutes left in the fourth quarter, I guess most of the fans would think the game is over. Not exactly in the NBA.

The real thing happened between the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors in an NBA regular game that I watched yesterday morning on TV. Being a slow-tempo team because of their tall and overweighed center Jokic, it seemed very hard to recover the deficits within such a limited time. With their patience, the Nuggets fully utilized every offensive opportunity to snatch points and confine the Warriors in each defense. Finally, they wiped out the differences and tied the game with only three seconds left. Then Jokic got the inbound pass in the backcourt, dribbled three times, hit a 40-foot blank buzzer-beater from as far as just over the halfcourt, and won the game.

Nothing is impossible in sports!
