Liz Truss stepped down from prime minister yesterday and became the shortest tenant in the house on 10, Downing Street ever in UK history.  Her resignation might signify the decline of western-styled democracy.

"Truss" as a common noun means a wood frame to support a roof or a bridge.  Eventually Liz Truss cannot do a good job as a "桁" to save the dilapidated London Bridge, as well as UK, from tumbling down.
