Someone lined me a video today, in which a doctor of Guangzhou People Hospital said he found when novel Coronavirus immersed in tea for one minute, particularly in black tea, 90% of the virus could be killed; over ten minutes, the effect could be 99.99%. He even recommanded people wash their hands with tea when avialable. The doctor cannot explain such a phenomenon himself, but I do not think it is a piece of "fake news". Well, science already proved that drinking hot water (of course not too hot) can kill the virus in mouth or throat, so it will not do you harm to your health by drinking hot tea as a habit. FYI, except before and after doing exercises, or taking pills, I seldom drink water. Hot tea is almost the only fluid I take daily. Needless to say, tea is not the panacea for fighting against the virus. Wear a mask, and do not go near where people are crowded. Just remember the adage, "Fools rush in where wise men fear to tread." during the pandemic. |
