This morning I went to Tri-service General Hospital to pick my pre-prescripted medication.  When I was waiting in the relatively quiet pharmacy area for my turn, suddenly a loud, furious shout outburst: "It is my turn, why cant I pick my medication, and why should I still be in the queue?  I am over ninety now, dont you know I have the priority?"  I could not hear how did the pharmacy workers react to the protest, all I knew was several minutes later, the old man, really old but looked hale and hearty, murmuring and slowly walking away, with his medications on hand but without a cane to help him. 

You know, usually the pharmacy counters are divided into four lines: two for regular outpatients of the day with odd and even registered serial number, and the other two are for the patients of chronic medication and the seniors(over 80).  Because of holiday, the hospital was not that crowded as those weekdays; so there were only two lines set in the pharmacy: one for regular outpatients of the day, and the other one for those with the prescription of chronic ailments and senior patients conbined.  I figured when the number of that old man was listed in an available group that displayed on the electonic screen, he then jumped the line and rushed to the counter demanding his medications, being unaware of other patients were waiting one by one; and when the pharmacy worker told him back to the line, he was raged about he was unfairly treated. 

Well, I think ordinary seniors are prone to be nervous about the things happening to them due to their impaired ears and bleary eyes.  A senior over 70 "will do what he would without going beyond what is right" is just referring to his state of mind he should have had, not when he has to take care of everydays life.  Dear hospital workers, you have to be more patient to those aged patients.
