Taiwan has been doing pretty good in containing COVID-19 since the disease broke out, but not good enough.  You know, Taiwan is an island, having much better natural advantage to ward the virus off than other places.  Recently I read a victim statistics between Taiwan and its neighbor Fujian Province regarding the anti-virus perfomance.  Up to date, positively contracted: 517, death: 7 in Taiwan, while the two numbers in Fujian are 411 and 1.  FYI, Fujian outnumbers Taiwan as nearly twice as many in population.

PS I returned to Taiwan from the States in last March, and I was then home-quarantined for exactly 15 days.  Now I can tell you when compared with the measures taken by China Mainland that illustrated in the reportage, my quarantine seemed just kid stuff, though it did bring me some inconvenience. (E.g.  I gained five kg in weight.)
